Browsing History (2018) is an abstracted and documented receipt of surfing the internet for 24 hours. A computer script screenshots the browser every 1.5 seconds and generates an image 1px wide, averaging their colour and geometries. Another program then stitches the 110,067 images together, resulting in a printed receipt 33 metres long.* Identifiable colours from technological conglomerates such as ‘Facebook blue’ and ‘YouTube Red’ highlight their influence within the abstracted, digital landscape.

*The installation view depicts two 5-metre long prints (31" x 5196.85") on non-woven mesh. Each print is representative of 2 hours spent online.
